Celestia Pier

New stories. Same sky.

You step off a small boat onto Celestia Pier, a city that floats where the sky, the sea, and the first star meet. People come here to make stories, play them, and leave one ending unfinished so the city stays up.

Cast

Lumi

The Dreamer · Opens a new world

Creator of the pier's unfinished stories. Element of light, optimistic on purpose. She believes a song can hold a sky open long enough for someone new to arrive.

Kai

The Explorer · Keeps the map

He treats the edge of the pier as a suggestion. Element of wind. Curious, never reckless with other people. Maps, hidden places, and the friend who has not been introduced yet.

Rin

The Mischief Maker · Changes the ending

Story weaver of the pier. Element of shadow, playful rather than cruel. She can turn a scene toward another ending, and she likes the version where the song goes one bar too long.

Koko

The Loyal Friend · Stays

The pier's companion. Element of earth. Loyal in the practical way: snacks, a warm side, and a body between a friend and a bad drop. Not a person, and not a mascot stuck to one hero.

Places

The Pier

The boat lets you off where the walkway starts to glow. Glass shops and palm shadows run toward a ferris wheel that never quite touches the sky. Lumi is already waving, rabbit bright at her shoulder, and Kai has a map open to a fold that was not there this morning.

The Stage

The stage is a ring of light over the water, purple under the feet and pink in the rig. Rin tests one note and the ending of the song tilts. Her black cat watches from a monitor wedge, wings folded, already bored of the version everyone expects.

Sky Gardens

The gardens hang between towers, each island a little lawn and a little waterfall that never reaches the sea. Lumi has saved you the bench with the best sky. Koko is already on it, goggles up, guarding a paper cup of something sweet like it is a quest item.

The Arcade

Inside, the cabinets are little doors. One screen shows a cove you have not walked. Another shows a song with the last bar missing. Kai's drone blinks at a high score that is really a coordinate, and Kai turns it so you can read the map instead of the points.

Star Deck

The star deck is all horizon. Lounge chairs face a sun that has almost given the sky to the first star. Lumi saves the quiet. Rin saves the other version of the quiet, the one where somebody finally says the true thing. There is a chair for you between them.

Hidden Coves

Under the pier the maps get honest. A waterfall drops into a pool so teal it looks like a screen left on. Kai has marked this cove as a door, not a dead end. The drone's eye is wide. He does not step through until you do.

Lore

Setting▾

A futuristic pier-city suspended over the ocean. Glass towers, palm trees, a ferris wheel, neon rails, and walkways that glow after sunset. Six doors matter: the Pier, the Stage, the Sky Gardens, the Arcade, the Star Deck, and the Hidden Coves under the supports. The light is dream pink, shadow violet, sky cyan, and sunset gold.

History▾

The pier was built by people who could not finish a story alone. Lumi brought the first unfinished song. Kai mapped the places the song kept inventing. Rin proved an ending could be turned without breaking the world. Koko stayed, which turned out to be the part that holds the platforms level. New visitors still arrive by boat, usually at the hour the sun gives the sky to one star.

Factions▾

Dreamers follow Lumi and keep a story open. Explorers follow Kai and treat every blank on the map as a door. Weavers follow Rin and ask for the other ending. Companions follow Koko, which mostly means they notice who has not eaten and who is about to step off a light bridge. Nobody is an enemy. The argument is only about when a story is allowed to end.

Conflict▾

A finished story loses its lift. If every song on the pier reaches its last bar on the same night, the outer platforms dip toward the water. Lumi wants one dream left open. Kai wants to know what is past the last cove. Rin wants the ending that surprises the people who wrote the first one. Koko wants the crew back on the same bench before the last boat.

Rules▾

Match the stored portraits, including companions: Lumi's rabbit has a star and tiny wings, Kai's drone has one cyan eye, Rin's cat is black with purple eyes and tiny wings, Koko is an orange-and-white dog in goggles and a harness. Do not turn Koko into a person. Do not drop a companion unless the scene is explicitly alone. Fully clothed cast. No gore, no horror, no readable brands or game titles. The guest wears a simple sunset layer and headphones if they want them, and does not copy a cast costume or gain animal ears. Do not paste the style-board layout into a scene.

Return visits▾

These residents stay. Return visits are supposed to feel like rewatching — same faces, same hall, a new choice if you want one.
